Local dryer vent cleaning and repair in Denver
Our Denver work is concentrated in the south of the city — Washington Park, Platt Park, University Hills, Harvey Park and the neighbourhoods either side of Hampden. These are largely 1920s to 1950s bungalows and post-war ranches, and they are a completely different proposition from a Douglas County new build.
In a house of that age the laundry is nearly always in the basement, the duct was retro-fitted, and it has usually been modified at least once by a previous owner. We find screwed joints, taped-over splits, vinyl duct and runs that take the scenic route to the rim joist. Cleaning matters, but so does putting the run itself right.
We cover south Denver; north of downtown is usually outside our range.

What we typically find in Denver
Wash Park and Platt Park bungalows
1920s–40s homes with basement laundry and retro-fitted ducting, often modified more than once.
University Hills and Harvey Park
Post-war ranches where the original run is short but tightly elbowed at the rim joist.
Pop-top and scrape remodels
Reworked ducting from an addition — worth a camera check to confirm it was actually reconnected.
Older air duct systems
Systems that have never been cleaned since the house was built. The trunk line photos from these are memorable.

Usually yes. Shortening the run, removing screwed joints and replacing vinyl with metal makes a measurable difference to drying time.
Yes, and in a house that has never had it done the difference in dust levels afterwards is usually very noticeable.
For most households, once a year. If you have a large family, pets that shed, or a duct run longer than about 15 feet, plan on every six months. Homes where the dryer vents through the roof also tend to need more frequent service.
Clothes still damp at the end of a normal cycle, drying that needs two or three cycles, a dryer that is hot to the touch, a burning or musty smell, a laundry room that gets hot and humid, lint gathering around the outside vent hood, or a vent flap that no longer opens when the dryer runs.
Two reasons. Safety first: the U.S. Fire Administration attributes roughly 2,900 residential dryer fires a year, and failure to clean the vent is the leading cause. Second, cost: a restricted vent forces the dryer to run longer on every load, which raises your energy bill and shortens the life of the machine.
